The Australian Sunrise Lime is a cross between a finger lime and cumquat and produces an beautiful pear-shaped golden fruit that is juicy and sharp in flavour. The fruit is delicious whole as the skin is sweet. The Australian Sunrise Lime makes a great ornamental plant choice for pots or garden plantings. Fruiting in winter for the main crop however small sporadic crops can be picked throughout the year. The Australian Sunrise lime was Developed by the CSIRO.
