Beach Almond - Indian Almond
Beach Almond - Indian Almond
The Beach Almond, also called Indian Almond or Sea Almond, is a deciduous tree native to Southeast Asia, valued for both its striking form and edible nuts. Growing 5-10 meters tall, featuring a distinctive pagoda shape with a single central stem that spreads horizontal branches as it matures. The tree sheds leaves twice yearly, with autumn foliage turning vibrant shades of red, copper, and gold. Its almond-shaped fruits change from green to brown-purple when ripe. The edible nuts have a flavour very similar to almonds.
