Blue Turmeric is rare species of turmeric also called Black Turmeric that’s different from the standard yellow / orange.

The Blue Rhizome is typically used for medicinal applications also used in cooking. The leaves have a deep violet-red patch that runs through the length of the leaves and will grow in full sun or part shade. The plant is deciduous and best kept dry in winter.
