The Obera Brazilian Cherry is a large fruit that ripens to a Dark maroon colour with exceptional flavour. 

The Obera Brazilian Cherry starts out green ripening from orange to maroon and turns a deep Maroon as it fully ripens. These plants are vigorous and ready to fruit in the next 2 years.

The fruit is very sweet, without any resinous aftertaste that is common in the red and orange varieties, the fruit and leaves are also larger than the common varieties , very juicy and a reliable producer.

The tree is upright, freely branching these trees are cold hardy and can take short periods of frost once established without damage.
