Currant - Black ( Bare Root Potted )

This deciduous shrub produces heavy crops of dark, flavourful berries, ideal for making jams, juices and preserves. Well suited to cooler climates, it is highly frost tolerant and performs best in areas with a distinct winter chill. Plant in rich, moist, free-draining soil in a position protected from hot, drying winds. Grows well in full sun or with some late afternoon shade, and tolerates heavier, wetter soils.
