Dwarf Persimmon - Wright’s Favourite - astringent

Plants are dormant late autumn and winter- no leaves until spring.

Wrights favourite is a self fertile, true dwarf persimmon. At least Half the size of Tanenashi and Nightingale. A 30 year old plant at 2.2m tall located on the Sunshine Coast SEQLD produces an abundant crop each year. Wrights favourites fruit however is full sized and has a deep orange colour. Wright’s favourite is an astringent variety with a beautiful flavour, worth the wait for it to fully ripen! A fantastic small tree for pots or small gardens. Named for Lyle Wright OAM, plant breeder.
