The Fukien Tea plant ( Carmona Retusa) are petite ,compact charming trees that develop small hanging berries and stunning white flowers.

In the past, Fukien tea was primarily grown for its tea leaves, which were used to produce a type of Chinese tea known for its delicate flavour and aroma.

The plant is still used for this purpose today, although it is also grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and homes around the world.

A common plant used in Bonsai they have woody barked branches and deep green leaves. 

After flowering fruit will gradually grow larger and change colour as they mature from green to red. 
When the fruit is fully ripe, it will be a dark, almost black color and will have a soft, fleshy texture.
