The Kakadu plum is known for being used as a medicine by traditional custodians, including leaves, Small yellow green plum-like fruits with very high Vitamin C content, can be eaten raw or cooked.

A tall tree growing to 10m with creamy flower spikes in early summer with olive-sized, plum-like fruits ripening in autumn. 

Flavour is sour with an astringent aftertaste.

Grafted onto  Terminalia catappa cool tolerant rootstock.
