Mango Lemon Meringue - PPK

The Lemon Meringue mango originally named Po Pyu Kalay was introduced to Florida and later given the name Lemon Meringue by Gary Zill. Lemon Meringue is a small, oval-oblong yellow mango with pale yellow, fiberless flesh with a very rich, sweet-citrus dominated flavour that most people adore. The trees are vigorous, vertical growers with dense foliage and are reasonably good producers. Both the trees and fruit are anthracnose resistant, The fruit are moderately susceptible to bacterial black spot, and will require spray to ensure clean fruit. Lemon Meringue is an early season mango. A must for the collectors!
