The Maprang is a large tree growing 10m+ tall with a dense crown and straight trunk. The Maprang has small cream flowers similar to a Mango which grow elongated 10 cm long yellow fruits. The edible skin of the Maprang surrounds the sweet and sour orange to red flesh. The Maprang fruits are consumed eaten fresh or used in cooking.
