The Gulf Gold plum has a firm flesh with excellent flavour & small seed. Requiring as little as 250 hours chill The Gulf Gold plum is an excellent backyard variety and even suitable for pots. The Gulf gold is a great semi self pollinating variety with the added bonus that it doesn’t seem to attract fruit fly as much as other stone-fruit varieties. Pollinating well with Gulf Ruby , the Gulf Gold puts on a wonderful display of white blossoms in spring!
