Rambutan Yellow

The Rambutan is a medium sized tropical tree, growing 10- 20m. The Yellow Rambutan fruit has a Yellow leathery skin is covered in soft spines giving it a hairy look. The flesh of the Rambutan is translucent, white or pale pink with a sweet flavour. The seeds are poisonous when eaten raw, they can be eaten when cooked. Rambutan trees are very cold sensitive, Tropical Trees, we only recommend rambutans for tropical areas where the plants can be kept over 10 degrees through winter.
