The Seashore Mangosteen (Garcinia hombroniana) is an ultra-rare fruit tree native to Asia, known for its tolerance to salt and sandy soils. Unlike the purple mangosteen, this hardy, small tree thrives near the seashore, making it ideal for coastal gardens.

The fruit’s flesh is segmented like mangosteen, with a pleasantly sour, whitish pulp, and most segments contain one flat seed.

Shows much greater cold tolerance than Purple mangosteen so worth trying in subtropical climates where the purple mangosteen does not thrive.

And we ship to QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and ACT every Monday and Tuesday.
