The Sudachi are very popular in Japan where this sour lime like citrus originates. The fresh juice of the Sudachi is often used as an alternative to vinegar. Fruits form prolifically in tight clusters and are harvested when still green however they do turn yellow-orange when fully ripe. Sudachi is commonly used as a garnish the aroma is zestier then lemons or limes. Sudachi is best grown in sub-tropical to tropical areas.
